Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information DryWindow ("we", "us") collects when you use this website, how it is used, and your rights under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018 and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
Who we are
DryWindow is operated by Bilal, based in the United Kingdom. You can contact us about privacy at hello@shipralogistics.com.
Information you give us
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to include in your message. We use this only to reply to you and keep it no longer than necessary.
Location and forecast requests
When you search for a place or use "Use my location", your browser sends the place name or approximate coordinates directly to Open-Meteo to retrieve the forecast. We do not receive or store this on our own servers. "Use my location" only works if you grant permission in your browser, and you can withdraw it at any time in your browser settings.
Information stored on your device
The tool saves your last place and job type in your browser's local storage so you do not need to retype them. This stays on your device, is not sent to us, and you can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
Server logs
Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, pages requested and the time of the request. These logs are used for security and to keep the site running, and are retained for a limited period.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense to show advertisements. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites. Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalised advertising at Your Online Choices or aboutads.info.
For visitors in the UK, the European Economic Area and Switzerland, we use a consent management platform certified by Google to ask for your consent before personalised advertising cookies are set. You can change your choices at any time using the privacy/cookie settings link shown by that consent message. If you decline, Google may still show non-personalised ads, which use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting and fraud prevention.
Learn more about how Google uses information from sites that use its services at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.
Legal bases
We rely on your consent for non-essential cookies and personalised advertising, and on our legitimate interests for server logs, security and replying to messages you send us.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, to object to or restrict processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, email hello@shipralogistics.com. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
Children
This website is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.
Changes
